Harvest Supervisor

Harvest Supervisor – Full-time, On-siteRole Overview:Oversee and coordinate pork processing floor operations, ensuring full compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and animal welfare standards. Lead and develop a team of hourly employees in a fast-paced production environment located in southwestern Minnesota, near the South Dakota and Iowa borders.Key Responsibilities:Supervise kill floor operations to meet production targetsEnsure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and animal welfare standardsMonitor humane handling and stunning proceduresLead, train, and discipline hourly employeesEnforce safety policies and maintain strong safety cultureCommunicate with QA, maintenance, and management to resolve issuesMaintain accurate production, attendance, and incident recordsAddress employee concerns, assist with language/cultural barriersEnsure proper sanitation and cleanliness of the kill floorRequired Qualifications:2–5 years supervisory experience in pork/red meat processingPrior kill floor experienceStrong knowledge of USDA regulations and animal welfareAbility to lead diverse teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving and communication skillsFlexible hours including weekendsAble to work in cold, wet, noisy environmentsStand and walk for extended periods; lift up to 50 lbsPreferred:Bilingual (English/Spanish)Skills:Supervision, leadership, problem-solving, communication, USDA compliance, safety enforcement, sanitation, adaptation to fast-paced environments, bilingual (preferred)Physical Requirements:Cold, wet, noisy environment; standing/walking long periods; lift up to 50 lbsCompensation & Benefits:Health, dental, vision insurance; PTO and holidaysReporting:Supervises slaughter room floor employeesApply:Kylla Olsen – kylla.olsen@gogpac.com | (515) 671-2172
