Our team is known for technical expertise, strong customer relationships, and a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.Position SummaryThe Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for developing new business and growing existing accounts across the commercial HVAC market, with a focus on customer-driven, project-based solutions. This role supports contractors, engineers, architects, and end users by identifying project needs, recommending technical solutions, and managing opportunities from early design through completion. While the role serves a broad commercial customer base, it includes a specialization in kitchen ventilation and restaurant HVAC systems.The Outside Sales Engineer is responsible for the following job duties:Selling Distribution Products to select accountsPromoting the kitchen product lines we represent and the company name.Assisting customers with their operational objectives by advising on proper application and selection of equipmentProvide technical support on our product linesDevelop and maintain solid working relationships through verbal and written correspondence with customers and the manufacturers we representPeriodic travel for training, industry meetings and customer entertainmentExperience:5-7 years of successful direct, outside sales experienceHVAC, Kitchen, and/or Construction ExperienceMechanical Engineering or Industrial Engineering Degree preferred, but will consider equivalent direct industry related job experienceCritical Skill Set:Must be extremely detailed oriented and self-motivatedCustomer service and sales drivenSolid interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and writtenSuccessful negotiatorThrives in a fast paced, multi-task environmentWhat We OfferComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and paid holidaysOpportunity to grow with a stable, expanding HVAC organizationCompensation: 80,000-120,000 DOEToroaire is a part of Ambient.
