Job Title: Product Security Research EngineerLocation: San JoseDuration: 8 Weeks ContractStart Date: 06/08/2026Pay Rate: Up to $91/hrJob SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Product Security Research Engineer with strong experience in Product Security, Vulnerability Research, and Attack Path Analysis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying complex exploit paths, performing deep technical security research, and helping engineering teams strengthen preventative security measures across cloud-native and hybrid-cloud environments.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform advanced vulnerability research and exploit analysis across complex software systems.Identify and validate attack paths by linking vulnerabilities and creating proof-of-concept exploit scenarios.Conduct impact analysis to determine affected products, services, and exposure risks.Collaborate with Security Architects and Engineering teams to implement long-term remediation strategies.Research AI-driven security automation techniques to improve vulnerability detection and threat analysis.Support high-priority security investigations and provide technical guidance during triage activities.Required SkillsStrong experience in Product Security Engineering.Expertise in Vulnerability Research and exploit development.Hands-on experience with Attack Path Analysis and Threat Modeling.Strong understanding of cloud-native and hybrid-cloud security architectures.Knowledge of authentication bypasses, logic flaws, and memory corruption vulnerabilities.Preferred QualificationsExperience with reverse engineering and offensive security research.Familiarity with graph-based security analysis.Contributions to security tools, CVEs, or technical whitepapers preferred.
