Workday integration developer

Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Workday Integration Developer to design, build, test, and support robust integrations between Workday (HCM, Payroll, Finance) and external third-party systems. In this role, you will collaborate with functional HR/Finance leads, IT teams, and external vendors to design scalable inbound and outbound data flows using Workday's integration suite (Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, Web Services). Note: Workday Certification is mandatoryKey Responsibilities:Integration Development & Maintenance: Design, develop, test, and deploy complex inbound/outbound integrations using Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, Workday Extend, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). Data Transformation & Logic: Write and maintain custom XSLT, XML, XPath, and Calculated Fields to format, transform, and map data across systems.Reporting & RaaS: Build custom Workday reports (Matrix, Advanced, Composite) and expose them as Report-as-a-Service (RaaS) calls for integrations. Vendor & Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams (HR, Payroll, Benefits, IT, Finance) and 3rd-party vendors to gather requirements, draft technical specifications, and establish interface mappings. Production Support & Troubleshooting: Monitor daily execution of scheduled integration jobs, perform root cause analysis on failure alerts, and implement timely fixes/optimizations. Release Management: Participate in semi-annual Workday release testing (regression testing, impact analysis) to ensure ongoing stability of existing integration pipelines. Security & Compliance: Ensure integrations conform to data governance, privacy standards, and Workday security frameworks (ISUs, ISSGs). Preferred Qualifications:Certifications: Workday Pro / Workday Orchestrate Developer Services Certification iMiddleware/iPaaS Experience: Hands-on experience with MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar middleware platform. Workday Extend & Orchestrate: Experience leveraging Workday Extend apps or Orchestrate workflows. BIRT Reporting: Familiarity with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT) for Workday layouts. Agile Framework: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Jira or Rally.
