The successful candidate will provide comprehensive speech and language services to students in a K8 setting, working collaboratively with educators, families, and specialists to foster student growth and achievement.Position Type: Part -Time, 0.6 FTE, 10-Month, Tenure TrackLocation: Ho-Ho-Kus Public School, Ho-Ho-Kus, NJReports To: Director of Special ServicesKey ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and treat students with speech, language, voice, fluency, and communication disorders.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with each student's IEP goals.Provide direct therapy services in individual and small group settings.Collaborate with classroom teachers, special education staff, and parents to support student communication needs.Participate in Child Study Team meetings, IEP meetings, and multidisciplinary evaluations.Maintain accurate and timely records, progress notes, and required documentation in compliance with NJ state regulations.Consult with and train staff and families on communication strategies and best practices.Assist with the design of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) supports as needed.Contribute to a supportive, inclusive school environment for all learners.Qualifications & RequirementsCertification through NJ DOEMaster's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.Experience working with school-age children, including students with diverse learning and communication needs.Knowledge of New Jersey special education law and IEP process.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.Experience with AAC devices and assistive technology.How to ApplyInterested candidates should apply online through Frontline and email cover letter and resume to Daniel Patino, Director of Special Services: dpatino@hohokus.org.
