Commercial HVAC Service Technician
Roles and Responsibilities
The essential roles and responsibilities are outlined below:
Work as a team to fulfill customers needs
Perform preventative maintenance at Commercial/Industrial sites
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial HVAC equipment.
Log HVAC equipment such as refrigerant circuit, electrical circuit, condition of equipment, etc.
Ability to braze, perform leak searches, and evacuation process.
Understand the commercial DX equipment up to/over 25 tons, exhaust systems, heat pumps, water source heat pumps, mini-splits, electric motor controls, etc.
Experience servicing/trouble shooting gas and steam boilers a plus, as well as various chiller machines.
Complete log sheets for customers as needed.
Be responsive to supervisors and dispatching.
Other such duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.
Qualifications and Requirements
2 years minimum Commercial HVAC Service experience REQUIRED
High School GED
Ability to lift and carry 50 pounds.
Ability to work flexible hours and be on call as needed.
Universal EPA Certification
Ability to understand equipment specifications.
Demonstrated experience in understanding basic refrigerant cycle, various heating component, and air distribution systems.
Ability to communicate effectively with customers.
Always represent the company well.
Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Must successfully pass a background check
