Whether you’re just starting your career or bringing years of expertise, you’ll find a place at EVstudio to innovate, grow, and make an impact.What You’ll DoThis role supports the structural engineering team by producing and coordinating construction documents for a range of residential and light civil projects, including production homes, custom homes, remodels, and occasional DOT-related work. The position focuses on efficient, accurate drafting and coordination, with an emphasis on supporting repeatable, high-volume project types.You will play a key role in documentation, coordination, and production support while continuing to grow your technical skillset within the structural group.Prepare and revise structural drawings using AutoCAD 2D for residential and light civil projectsAssist in developing plan sets for production housing, including foundations, framing plans, and detailsSupport drafting for retaining walls, small site structures, and related componentsCollaborate with engineers and designers to incorporate markups and revisions into construction documentsUtilize Revit to support modeling and documentation effortsMaintain drawing standards and ensure consistency across project typesCoordinate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate deliverablesAssist with basic quantity takeoffs and document organization as neededRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldTypically, 1–4+ years of Structural design experienceProficiency in AutoCAD 2D preferredFamiliarity with Revit is requiredExperience with residential construction (production homes, custom homes, remodels) strongly preferredStrong attention to detail and ability to follow redlines and direction from engineersGood organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environmentWhat We OfferWe are targeting a base salary of $65,000 to $75,000, but is determined by several factors including education, experience, and a history of working in the Denver metro area.Medical insurance, including an HSA optionDental insuranceVision insuranceEmployer-paid life insuranceSTD & LTDA minimum of 15 days PTO, and higher for more experienced employeesAccident insurance401k match of 4%One full day of paid VTO (Volunteer Time Off) annuallyRoth 401K optionAnnual company ski day and summer picnicFlexible hoursIn many cases, our roles can be worked in a hybrid capacityMonthly employee celebrations (with free lunch!)The opportunity to touch every aspect of a project, from beginning to endFree snacksWeekly volleyball league in the Summer and bowling in the WinterCompany-owned bar in the parking lot of the Denver officeRelaxed dress codeEntrepreneurial mindset – If you have an idea, we want you to pursue it!Our Hiring ProcessEVstudio prides itself on being efficient in its hiring process.
