This role serves as a primary point of contact for patients, ensuring accurate appointment scheduling and a positive first impression of our organization. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and committed to providing exceptional patient service in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Key Responsibilities:Patient Scheduling & Front-Line CommunicationSchedule, confirm, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments with accuracy and efficiencyAnswer incoming calls and electronic scheduling requests in a courteous and patient-focused mannerVerify patient demographics, and appointment requirementsProvide patients with clear instructions regarding appointment preparation, arrival times, and office policiesClinic & Scheduling SupportFollow provider scheduling templates and access guidelinesMonitor cancellations, waitlists, and open appointment slots to maximize provider availabilityCoordinate scheduling within the Sarasota locationCommunicate schedule changes and urgent needs to clinical and administrative staffDocumentation & ComplianceAccurately enter and maintain scheduling data in the EHR and scheduling systemsMaintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and Ethos Health Group policiesAdhere to established workflows, customer service standards, and documentation requirementsPatient ExperienceServe as a welcoming and professional representative of Ethos Health GroupAssist with routine patient questions and escalate concerns as appropriateSupport Ethos Health Group’s mission of delivering compassionate, high-quality careQualifications:RequiredHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong verbal and written communication skillsBasic computer proficiency and ability to learn EHR systemsPreferredExperience in a multi-provider outpatient medical practiceKnowledge of medical terminology and insurance verificationSkills & CompetenciesExceptional customer service and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to multitask in a high-volume environmentTime management and organizational skillsDependability, professionalism, and teamwork
