We provide well maintained equipment, very competitive pay, and a great work environment.Duties:Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsLoad material at asphalt or aggregate plant and safely transport to other plants and/or job sitesTarp load when needed to protect product being hauledJob requires cleaning and washing of vehicle to include the spraying down of trailers when needed in designated areasMaintains a clean truck and practices good housekeeping on all equipment and in the plantReports any necessary maintenance or adjustments that may be requiredMust be able to work flexible schedule with flexible hours, hours varyMust be able to travel to various work locations based on work availability and customer demandOvertime, weekend work and nights may be requiredWill work out of state at timesCan be exposed to extremes of hot and cold weatherMust be able to work cooperatively with othersEqual Opportunity Employer: We are an equal employment opportunity employer. May also require occasional bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, crouching, and balancing.Must be able to shift manual transmission and operate foot pedals.Must be able to occasionally reach above shoulder level, at waist level, and below waist level for maneuvering and directing the controls to operate the truck.Must be able to hook/unhook various commercial vehicle combinations, manually raise and lower hood, manually lower and raise landing gear, operate the fifth wheel release lever, attach and release safety chains, open and close cargo doors.Position Requirements:Safe driving record (DMV printout required)California Commercial Class A driver's license with doubles and endorsementMust be able to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screeningSeeking candidates with a positive attitude, strong work ethic and strong customer service skills.Must adhere to all safety regulations including company policies, State, and Federal regulations.Must have Doubles Endorsement.Experience:Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)Driving: 1 year (Preferred)License/Certification:CDL A (Preferred)Salary Description
