Lead Set-Up Mechanic

OverviewStryten Energy, a new company name with a long history in Lancaster County, operates a growing plastic injection molding facility in West Lampeter Township. We produce plastic components for car batteries and have a stable and growing customer base. As an essential business we continue to thrive during this economic downturn, and we are expanding our teams.This person supervises the daily set up activities of all set up personnel within the plant and ensures that they are performing their job duties.This is a 2nd Shift position (3pm - 11pm/Monday - Friday)ResponsibilitiesReview and submit downtime reportsSchedule set-up daily activitiesRoom AssignmentsArrange coverage as requiredPrioritize ChangesDaily projects - Quality, productivity improvements, Check sheets, OPMProjectsPost and award Overtime based on guidelines and revolving seniority listMaintain weekend coverageReview vacation requests and approve / deny based on guidelinesSupport / Insure compliance to Safety & Quality requestsManage the floor - Stay visible.
