Job Description & Requirements Specialty: OR - Operating Room Discipline: RN Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 9 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in a Level 1 Trauma Operating Room. This fast-paced environment performs a diverse array of surgical procedures, including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant surgeries. Shift Details Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Schedule: 36 hours per week Weekend Shifts: 3 weekend shifts required per 13 weeks Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality care during surgical procedures. Circulate and scrub in OR, focusing on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases. Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Maintain accurate patient records using EPIC. Requirements Minimum of 2 years of Operating Room RN experience. Experience in Level 1 trauma centers with extensive scrub experience. Proficient in the use of EPIC for patient records. Current BLS certification. Preferred Experience Experience in Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) procedures. Background in GU (Genitourinary) surgeries. Experience in Plastics and Burn surgeries. Work Environment The Operating Room consists of 18 beds and handles approximately 45-50 surgical procedures daily across various specialties. Nurses may be required to float to different units within the organization as needed.
