Short-Run CNC Machining Specialist (Program Edit)

One hour you’re dialing in a milling center; the next you’re turning a new material on a CNC lathe or finishing on a conventional grinder. If you thrive in a low-volume/high-mix environment and enjoy refining programs with engineering, you’ll feel at home here.Your ImpactTransform blueprints/job orders into precise parts by determining sequencing, feeds/speeds, fixtures, and depths of cut.Own your setups—fixtures, chucks, collets, jaws—and establish accurate startup dimensions multiple times per day.Run both conventional equipment (lathes, mills, grinders) and CNC lathes or milling centers across metals and nonmetals.Partner with programmers/engineering to edit CNC programs and drive continuous improvement.Assure quality using calibrated gauges; continuously monitor operations; deburr with bench tools.Support the team with other duties as assigned.What You Bring6–12 months of hands-on machining experience/training, or equivalent education and experience.Associate’s degree from a two-year college/technical school preferred.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive base pay$3.00 second shift premiumMedical, dental, and vision plans401(k) with company matchTuition reimbursementVacation, personal time, and paid holidaysCareer advancement opportunitiesThis description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work being performed by employees within this classification.
