Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care
All previous perm employees of ANY Providence affiliated facility must be separated from the health system for a min of 3 months to qualify for a travel position. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. Monday thru Friday, some flexibility 730-4pm 800-430pm or 830-5pm NO WEEKENDS OR HOLIDAYS UNIT ACCEPTS 1ST TIME TRAVELER 1 YEAR EXPERIENCE - entry level, will consider with less nursing experience, but needs compatible professional experience General Nursing Support - No Transplant experience required - Transplant Unit: Need to communicate medication changes, lab reviews, general patient questions with support of 2 post transplant coordinators - Hepatology Unit: Prior authorization support, patient care reminders, working along side another Hepatology core staff nurse Ambulatory experience is a plus and a background in GI Qualified clinician will have clinic or acute care experience. This is an entry level positions, willing to train to processes --- SKILLS --- PREFFERED: Family Care Clinic, General Surgery, Oncology, Urgent Care, Urology REQUIRED: Internal Medicine, Triage REQUIRED: Suture Removal --- CARDIOVASCULAR SKILLS --- REQUIRED: Hypertension --- ENDOCRINE SKILLS --- REQUIRED: Blood glucose monitoring --- ASSESSMENT --- REQUIRED: Interpretation of laboratory results, Medication reconciliation, Pain assessment, Patient Health Questionnaire/History/Allergies; Vital Signs - Blood Pressure, Respirations, Temperature, Pulse --- Office Duties --- REQUIRED: Authorization Forms, Chart Preparation, Disability forms, Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests, Referrals, Telephone Triage --- Professional Knowledge and Skills --- REQUIRED: Biohazard waste disposal, Follow up phone calls, Imaging results, Medication refills, Patient Teaching, Universal precautions Certifications: BLS (REQUIRED) Scrubs: Any color or business casual attire
