We presently have a heavy backlog of construction projects, service projects, and maintenance/service accounts. We perform work throughout the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and are beginning to move into surrounding parts of Northeast Kansas.Position SummaryThe Commercial HVAC Pipefitter is responsible for installing, assembling, fabricating, maintaining, and repairing piping systems used in commercial HVAC applications, including chilled water, hot water, steam, and refrigerant systems. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, the ability to read blueprints, and experience working on large-scale commercial or industrial projects.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall and assemble piping systems for HVAC equipment, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, and cooling towersRead and interpret blueprints, specifications, and isometric drawingsCut, thread, groove, braze, solder, and weld pipe (steel, copper, PVC, etc.)Layout and install hangers, supports, and piping systems according to code and project requirementsPerform system testing, flushing, and startup supportTroubleshoot and repair existing HVAC piping systemsCoordinate with project managers, foremen, and other trades on job sitesEnsure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes and safety standardsMaintain tools, equipment, and a clean, organized work areaQualifications3+ years of commercial HVAC or industrial pipefitting experience (preferred)Strong knowledge of hydronic and refrigerant piping systemsAbility to read blueprints and mechanical drawingsExperience with welding and/or brazing preferredFamiliarity with building codes and safety regulationsValid driver's license and reliable transportationPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift 50+ lbs regularlyAbility to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditionsProlonged standing, bending, kneeling, and climbingPreferred Certifications (Not Required)OSHA 10 or 30Welding certificationsCompensation & Benefits$24-$45/hour (based on experience)Paid HolidaysPaid Vacation TimePaid Sick Time401K401K Profit ShareHealth InsuranceOptional Supplemental InsuranceFlexible Spending AccountsIn-house Training Program (Earn while you learn)
