Industrial Engineering Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced industrial engineering leader to oversee a portfolio of large-scale automation and material handling projects. This role is responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle-from planning and procurement through installation, integration, and operational handover-ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with strategic business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to lead cutting-edge automation initiatives across multiple sites, influence operational strategy, and drive measurable business impact.
Responsibilities
Lead multi-site, cross-functional teams through all project phases - design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover.
Manage a portfolio of automation projects, tracking KPIs such as schedule adherence, budget, quality, safety, and ROI.
Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and charters; mitigate risks and manage changes effectively.
Drive vendor and supplier selection, performance management, and contract negotiations.
Provide technical oversight, ensuring systems integrate with facility workflows and ERP/WMS platforms.
Deliver operations handover, training, and early support to ensure smooth transitions.
Identify process improvements, optimize resources, and support long-term automation strategy.
Qualifications
10+ years' experience managing large scale warehouse automation projects
Minimum of bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering or related
Project Management certification
Compensation
Base salary in the range of $170,000-200,000 plus bonus
