We are seeking an ambitious Senior Loan Processor who is eager to advance their career and grow toward Conventional and FHA Underwriting.Position OverviewThe Senior Loan Processor plays a critical role in ensuring loan files are complete, accurate, and processed efficiently from submission to closing. In this role, you will work closely with Loan Officers, Underwriters, and the operations team to maintain compliance, meet closing deadlines, and provide an outstanding borrower experience.Key ResponsibilitiesReview loan approval conditions and ensure timely clearance of all items.Analyze credit reports and request mortgage credit supplements when necessary.Order and review Verifications of Employment (VOEs).Review personal and business tax returns for accuracy and completeness.Run loan files through DU and LP and update findings in Encompass.Order and upload required documentation including 4506 transcripts, SSA verifications, flood certifications, and other compliance items.Verify address accuracy through USPS and update Encompass records accordingly.Complete and upload LDP/GSA checks, Geo Codes, and other regulatory documentation.Monitor pipeline to ensure all files remain on schedule for closing.Support the processing team with overflow tasks as needed.Perform additional duties as required to support operational efficiency and team success.Qualifications4+ years of residential mortgage loan processing experience requiredStrong knowledge of Conventional and FHA loan productsExceptional organizational and multitasking skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyAbility to manage multiple loan files simultaneously while meeting deadlinesExcellent communication and customer service skillsProficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage software systemsExperience with Encompass preferredCompensation & BenefitsSalary: $55,000 – $60,000 per year (based on experience)Performance BonusesMonthly performance bonuses tied to pipeline management and file qualityQuarterly team/branch performance bonusesBenefits Package IncludesHealth, Dental, and Vision InsurancePaid Time Off (Vacation, Sick Days, and Holidays)401(k) Retirement Plan with Company MatchFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Employee Assistance Program (EAP)Ongoing training and a clear career growth path toward UnderwritingScheduleFull-Time | In-OfficeParsippany, NJStandard 8-hour workday with flexibility based on workloadJob Type: Full-time Work Location: In person
