This role is ideal for a disciplined, self-motivated professional who is comfortable operating in the field, engaging decision-makers, and managing complex sales cycles from initial outreach through close.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Territory ManagementDevelop and execute a strategic plan to identify and engage prospective mid-market and enterprise clientsGenerate new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and industry eventsBuild and maintain a consistent, high-quality sales pipelineSales ExecutionLead the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution development, presentations, proposal delivery, negotiation, and closingAssess client payment environments to identify inefficiencies and recommend tailored solutionsPresent value-driven recommendations to business owners and executive stakeholdersEffectively manage multi-stakeholder sales processesRelationship ManagementEstablish and maintain long-term client relationships focused on trust and ongoing valueIdentify opportunities for account growth and client referralsSales Operations & DisciplineMaintain accurate pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM (HubSpot) recordsApply a consultative, value-based sales approach in all client interactionsQualificationsExperienceMinimum of 5 years of outside sales experience, preferably in payments, fintech, or a related industryDemonstrated success in new business development and quota attainmentExperience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise clientsProven ability to manage complex, consultative sales cyclesSkills & CompetenciesStrong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skillsAbility to analyze business challenges and translate them into effective solutionsEffective negotiation and closing capabilitiesHighly organized with strong time and territory management skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently in a field-based environment
