Internal Medicine physician employment in Connecticut : A healthcare system in Hartford County is actively seeking a patient-oriented and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join their growing staff. About the Opportunity Location : Hartford County, CT Specialty : Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, 100% outpatient Hours : Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm Call: rotated telephone only call less than once a month Responsibilities: The Primary Care Physician will: Examine, obtain medical history, and treat acute and chronic illnesses Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests Create treatment plans and involve patients and family members in those plans. Initiate appropriate specialty referrals Collaborate on improvement in care delivery and service with management, other physicians, and staff Work with care team to close care gaps and improve quality measures Work with practice management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirement Perform other duties as needed Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of Connecticut Board Eligible / Certified in Family and/or Internal Medicine Your privacy is important to us.
