Hiring: Senior Java Developer with WebMethods

Remote – USA💼 Experience: 12+ Years🇺🇸 Work Authorization: US Citizens OnlyJob Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer with WebMethods expertise to join our team for a remote opportunity in the USA. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, application modernization, middleware integrations, and enterprise system integration. The candidate should be comfortable migrating Java applications from Java 8 to Java 11 or later, refactoring existing code, and leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity while ensuring code quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Upgrade and migrate Java applications from Java 8 to Java 11+. Refactor existing code to improve performance, maintainability, and scalability. Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Design and implement REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns. Build and support middleware integrations using WebMethods. Integrate enterprise content management systems, including Documentum/ECM. Use AI-assisted development tools such as Kiro to generate, review, and validate code. Work with JMS, SOAP/REST services, Git, Jenkins, and Maven/Gradle. Develop automated tests and support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD). Participate in code reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and follow development best practices.
Required Skills:
12+ years of overall IT experience. Strong hands-on experience with Java development. Experience with Java 8 to Java 11+ migration and code refactoring. Expertise in Spring and Spring Boot. Strong knowledge of REST APIs and enterprise integration patterns. Experience with WebMethods and middleware integrations. Familiarity with JMS, SOAP, REST, Git, Jenkins, and Maven/Gradle. Experience with automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and code reviews. Ability to review, validate, and improve AI-generated code using Kiro.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience integrating Documentum or other Enterprise Content Management (ECM) platforms. Experience with enterprise application modernization. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
