Your new career adventure starts here!Job SummaryJob Summary:Reporting to the General Manager, the Sales Director is responsible for driving new business to achieve agreed sales targets and growth objectives across both new and existing customers. This role plays a crucial part in the business’ growth strategy, ensuring the development and execution of pipeline management to acquire new logo opportunities. Success in this role requires proactive opportunity identification, and quickly learning the industry’s unique requirements and value proposition for Momentm’s NEMT platform solution.Momentm offers a transportation management platform that coordinates more than 22 million trips per year for our community’s most vulnerable namely those struggling economically and seniors and more. The value proposition is clear for a prospect that is aligned with our product’s market position and capabilities. We serve the Health and Human Services Transportation market that includes NEMT Brokers, Transportation Providers and PACE organizations. Our clients are primarily based in North America.Job DescriptionThe Sales Director will oversee:Achievement of sales targets, including new bookings and pipeline.Collaboration with internal stakeholders to support the commercial growth strategy.Participation in industry events and conferences as well as perform prospect and/or client visits.Job DetailsThe most important duties of the role are:Prospect: Generate leads and follow through on marketing created leads, using CRM (Salesforce) as the primary canvas. If it’s not in CRM, it didn’t happen.Qualify and Discover: Through a consultative approach, listen, synthesize and understand the intersection between a prospect’s needs and our offerings.Present: Create and deliver strong and compelling sales presentations to a range of prospective and clients. Capable of communicating the company’s commitments, direction, products and offerings in an understandable and relatable way that drives results.Deliver: Generate pricing proposals, RFP responses and other deliverables. Participate in proposal writing and review process, ensuring win themes are clearly articulated for a winning response.Close: Prepare, negotiate and close contracts with prospects.Success: Meet or exceed sales goals and quotasMaintain: Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, both internally and externally. Strategy: Coordinate sales efforts with marketing for focused initiatives and deliverables. Advise on pricing approaches, promotions, and negotiations.Travel: Attend conferences and events; visit prospects. 25% to 40% travel is expected.Technical: Demonstrated proficiency of software and hardware, including MS Office 365 Suite and Salesforce with minimal direction.Supervisory ResponsibilitiesManage priorities and activities for a Business Development Representative (BDR).Identify and nurture talent for future leadership roles.Collaborate to develop and execute sales strategies that align with the Company’s objectives.Provide resources to help employees develop skills and supports their career interests including mentorship, workforce development and succession planning.Identify growth opportunities, build development plans with direct report and conducting development discussions.Establish and communicate performance expectations.Identify performance gaps and monitor performance to ensure development plans are met.Promote Company policies, procedures, mission, and values by training and providing direction to direct report in their use and application.Other duties as assigned.Specific Skills And ExperienceA minimum of 10 years of SaaS software sales experience is required.Experience in Medicaid, Medicare, PACE and/or transportation is a definite asset.A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field is required and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.Formal sales training is required.Proficiency in Salesforce or similar software for managing and forecasting sales opportunities preferred.Because results-based training will be provided, the ability to adopt, adapt and learn is critical.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both prospectives, customers and team members.Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced, self-directed environment with minimal oversight.Education / ExperienceBachelor's Degree required.Salesforce CRM experience preferred.10+ years of demonstrated results in selling solutions to customers in healthcare, transportation or related fields, with recent proven performance in business growth is required.Prior experience in identifying, negotiating, and closing multi-year sales opportunities that are valued between $250,000 and $2 million is expected.Momentm is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
