Clinical Data Review Pharmacist Highlights The pay for this position is $65.00 per hour Available schedules: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM Monday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM; Tuesday–Friday 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM Sunday–Thursday, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Friday and Saturday off) Onsite position (centralized processing environment, not patient-facing) This position is a full-time contract (Staff Augmentation) Safety sensitive role with access to PHI Responsibilities Perform prescription order processing and clinical verification in a centralized pharmacy setting Ensure compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, including controlled substance requirements and Good Faith Dispensing standards Provide clinical services such as medication therapy management (MTM), immunizations, and patient consultation as applicable Conduct drug utilization reviews and ensure prescription accuracy Resolve prescription and medication-related inquiries from patients and providers Support medication adherence initiatives and health outcome improvement programs Maintain proper documentation and regulatory reporting standards Participate in ongoing training, certifications, and continuing education requirements Collaborate with pharmacy operations and healthcare teams to maintain workflow efficiency and compliance Requirements Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited institution Active Pharmacist License (RPh) in good standing Minimum 1 year of experience in a pharmacy environment Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, controlled substance laws, and dispensing policies Ability to work onsite in a structured, high-volume pharmacy operations environment Immunization certification preferred Benefits Available Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment. Check medications prepared by the pharmacy technicians Coordinate all clinical pharmacy patient care and pharmacy dispensing/shipping activities Coordinating all clinical pharmacy patient care and/or pharmacy production activities Mean that the supervising pharmacist have reviewed the prescription or drug order Provide direct supervision to pharmacy interns and pharmacy technicians working with the pharmacist Maintain pharmacy patient profiles and dispensing records Provide pharmacist counseling for all new prescriptions to patients Supervise the work of pharmacy technicians and pharmacy interns Assign projects to resident pharmacist and other pharmacy personnel Initiate and facilitate appropriate drug dosing and manage medication-related pharmacist Provide clinical pharmacy support and execute clinical pharmacy programs for all patient areas Prescribe interview or dispensing pharmacy interview Optimize pharmacy practice, pharmacy systems, and the medication-use process Enter prescription data into pharmacy software Perform individual patient pharmacy reviews to determine medication adherence and medication reconciliation Supervise pharmacy technicians in drug distribution and compounding tasks Supervise and direct pharmacy technicians
