Litigation Secretary, Temp-To-Hire - San Francisco

Job DescriptionA San Francisco-based litigation firm is seeking a Temp-To-Hire Litigation Secretary for its San Francisco office. This full-time, fully onsite position provides comprehensive administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling complex civil litigation matters. The role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment, has a strong understanding of litigation procedures and deadlines, and enjoys being an integral part of a collaborative team.Responsibilities:Attorney and Litigation SupportProvide day-to-day administrative and litigation support to attorneys across active civil litigation mattersAssist with litigation tasks requiring knowledge of state and federal court rules, filing procedures, and attorney workflow managementDocument Preparation and FilingPrepare, format, revise, proofread, and finalize pleadings, motions, discovery, correspondence, and other legal documentsApply track changes, redlines, styles, and formatting while ensuring accuracy and consistencyHandle state and federal court filings and e-filings in compliance with applicable rules and deadlinesCase and File ManagementMaintain and organize electronic and physical case filesAssist with opening and closing matters and managing litigation documentationScheduling and Calendar ManagementManage litigation calendars, deadlines, and docketing requirementsSchedule and coordinate hearings, depositions, mediations, and client meetingsClient and Court CommunicationCommunicate professionally with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and vendorsCoordinate court reporters, service providers, and scheduling logisticsSpecial Projects and Administrative SupportAssist with discovery preparation, including document organization and productionPrepare materials for hearings and trial, including binders and exhibitsHandle incoming and outgoing mail, scanning, filing, and document managementQualifications:Must be available for TEMP-TO-HIRE job positions2+ years of experience as a Litigation Secretary or Litigation Legal AssistantPrior experience in a civil litigation law firm requiredStrong knowledge of litigation procedures, court rules, and deadlinesExperience with state and federal court e-filingsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritiesExcellent communication, proofreading, and time-management skillsAbility to work independently while also contributing as a team memberMust be able to work fully onsite in San FranciscoWork Environment:Fully onsite role in San FranciscoFull-time schedule during standard business hoursCollaborative, professional, and team-oriented litigation environmentPlease submit your resume for confidential consideration.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, national origin, age, ancestry, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, marital status, disability, medical condition, genetic information, pregnancy, or military or veteran status.
