Electrical Project Manager in Kansas City

Job DescriptionGpac has partnered with a heavy civil contractor looking to add an Electrical Project Manager to their team. The Electrical Project Manager is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, production, and ultimate successful completion of all assigned projects. They will oversee electrical scopes of work and will bring a blend of technical electrical expertise and project management experience.Electrical Project Manager Duties:Oversee and manage construction projects from start to finishDevelop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocationCoordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure project specifications are metReview and interpret construction plans, schematics, and blueprintsMonitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgetConduct regular site visits to inspect workmanship and quality of constructionManage project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and permitsElectrical Project Manager Requirements:Degree in electrical engineering, construction management or related field (preferred)Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar roleStrong industry experience specific to construction, electrical codes, or equivalent knowledge.Experience with typical PM software tools, or equivalents, including Bluebeam Revu, Excel, AutoCAD, BIM360, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), MS Project, P6, Google Earth, Google Drive, MS Teams, and willingness to learn new and project-specific programsProficient in reading and interpreting construction plans, schematics, and blueprintsShould you feel that your skills and experience are suitable for this Electrical Project Manager or if there are is another area of interest please contact me confidentially at 605-705-3302 or tim.dejong@gogpac.comGPAC (Growing People and Companies) is an award-winning search firm specializing in placing quality professionals within multiple industries across the United States over the past 28 years.
