BIM Designer (TSMC Project)

Job OverviewMarketech International Corporation USA is seeking a detail-oriented BIM Designer (Electrical) to support electrical design and coordination efforts for semiconductor, high-tech, and industrial construction projects. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining accurate 3D electrical models, preparing construction drawings, and coordinating with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and field teams to support project execution.The ideal candidate will have experience using Revit and AutoCAD, a strong understanding of electrical systems such as cable trays, conduits, and panels, and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment. This role plays a key part in improving design accuracy, clash detection, and model coordination across multiple stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesModeling and Design SupportDevelop, update, and maintain 3D electrical models using Revit and AutoCADCreate and revise detailed electrical layouts including cable trays, conduits, panels, and related componentsGenerate 2D construction drawings and sheets from 3D design modelsReview and update models to reflect design revisions and field changesCoordination and Project SupportCoordinate with engineers, project managers, subcontractors, and other trades to ensure model accuracy and alignment with project requirementsParticipate in coordination meetings and provide progress updates on assigned modeling tasksSupport design coordination efforts to help resolve conflicts and improve constructabilityCommunicate with internal teams and subcontractors regarding model updates and project needsClash Detection and Quality ControlPerform clash detection and identify design conflicts or discrepancies within the modelAssist in resolving clashes and coordination issues with project stakeholdersHelp ensure models and drawings are organized, accurate, and aligned with project standardsDocumentation and Technical SupportMaintain accurate design files, project records, and drawing revisionsSupport the preparation of as-built documentation as neededReview P&IDs and PFDs as needed to align with 3D models and system requirementsQualificationsRequiredAssociate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferredExperience using Revit and AutoCAD for electrical modeling and draftingPrevious experience in electrical design, BIM modeling, or construction coordinationFamiliarity with electrical systems such as cable trays, conduits, and panelsStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple updates and revisionsEnglish communication requiredPreferredExperience supporting semiconductor, high-tech, or industrial construction projectsExperience with VDC/BIM coordination in a construction environmentExperience working on or supporting active construction sitesFamiliarity with P&IDs, PFDs, and construction documentation processesSkillsRevit 3D modelingCAD drafting and drawing preparationClash detection and coordinationMicrosoft Office, including Excel and PowerPointStrong communication and coordination skillsProblem-solving ability and attention to detailEqual Employment Opportunity Statement: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, religious creed, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical or mental disability, medical condition, genetic information, military and veteran status, marital status, pregnancy, gender, gender expression, gender identity, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected by local law, regulation, or ordinance.
