Baker
We are looking for a Baker to prepare a wide range of pastries, cookies, cakes and desserts. Baker responsibilities include mixing dough, preparing fillings and operating the oven. To be successful in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker and be able to operate a mixer and oven. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious goods to our customers on a daily basis.
Responsibilities
Clean kitchen equipment and tools before and after use
Weigh flour and other ingredients to prepare dough
Occasionally bake breads
Adjust oven temperatures to ensure proper baking
Mix various ingredients to create fillings for cakes and cookies (e.g. chocolate ganache, buttercream, custards, etc)
Shape dough to prepare different types of pastries, including puff pastry, cookies and rolls
Skills
Experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef or similar role
Familiarity with professional kitchen equipment, including mixers, ovens, and dough sheeters
Understanding of food safety practices
Excellent time-management skills
Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast-paced environment
Team spirit, with a customer-focused attitude
Flexibility to work in morning or afternoon shifts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
