Job Title: 3 Pillar Specialist (Systems Specialist)Department: 3 PillarReports To: Assistant ManagerFLSA Status: Non-ExemptSummaryThis position will provide training / support for Aisin Automotive Casting and coordinate improvement activities for manufacturingEssential Duties and Responsibilities*Ability to communicate and coordinate training requirements within AISIN and AISIN North American PlantsAbility to teach in a classroom and floor side settingHigh proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point is essentialMust be self-motivatedAbility to communicate at all levels (written and verbal)Can handle abnormalities and trouble shoot issuesStrong organizational skillsAbility to plan and maintain schedulesAbility to create presentations and present to upper managementAbility to train all levels of team membersAbility to conduct floor side trainingAbility to conduct audits and assessments based on established standardsAbility to create and edit videos using computer softwareRecommend changes to standard work procedures to meet production needsMaking suggestions to increase efficiencyMaintain proper control of confidential data following company guidelinesMay be required to work overtimeProvide positive, professional communicationAbility to develop training curriculums and materialsParticipate in the Quarterly North American meetingsAnalyze Data and develop improvement activity plansSummarizing and communicating information, training results, test results, floor side application resultsAbility to travel as needed to support business needsOther duties may be assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesThis job has no supervisory responsibilitiesQualificationsEducation and/or ExperienceRequiredHigh school diploma or G.E.D.PreferredBA/BS in related field1-5 years experience in a leadership / teaching roleKnowledge of manufacturing systemExperience teaching high volume manufacturing operationsLanguage SkillsAbility to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.Ability to write correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one, small group and large group situations to customers, clients and other members of the organizationMathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphsReasoning AbilityAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.Ability to resolve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.Physical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the member is regularly required to walk; use hands and fingers to handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The performance of this position normally requires exposure to a typical manufacturing area where under certain conditions require the use of personal protective equipment such as safety shoes and safety glasses.Open staff room with constant activity and interaction with cross-functional divisions, departments, and sections.
