Electrical Magnetics Engineer

Electrical / Magnetics Engineer (Advanced Systems)Our client is seeking an experienced Electrical / Magnetics Engineer to join an advanced engineering program focused on next-generation space and aerospace systems. This is a full-time, on-site role suited to an engineer with strong hands-on experience across complex electrical and avionics environments.Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of magnetics-related control strategies and ensure compliance with specialized environmental requirementsDevelop and execute EMI/EMC and related control plans, including environmental testingDesign, integrate, and test electrical interfaces, including PCB and harness designSupport development of avionics subsystems and system-level test environmentsExecute electrical integration procedures and system-level validationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical subsystemsEnsure compliance with relevant aerospace and industry standards and document design/test outcomesProvide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teamsQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field5+ years of relevant experience in aerospace, space systems, or similar high-reliability environmentsExperience with magnetics, EMI/EMC, and shielding designStrong PCB debugging skills and familiarity with lab tools such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzersExperience with PCB design tools (e.g., Altium, KiCad, Eagle or similar)Familiarity with industry-standard engineering and test frameworksExperience working in controlled environments with strict handling protocolsLocation: On-site (LA)Employment Type: Full-timeThis is an opportunity to contribute to advanced engineering systems within a highly collaborative and innovative environment.
