Facilities SupervisorThe Facilities Supervisor, under the direction of the Facilities Manager, is responsible for coordinating and supporting maintenance activities related to the company's facilities, equipment, and parts.Key AccountabilitiesPrioritize maintenance and repair activities for company grounds, equipment and partsAssist with the maintenance, testing, and repair of facility systems, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, structural, and carpentry workOperate and support material handling equipment, fire protection systems, hazardous waste processes, and sanitation equipmentSupport safety initiatives and ensure compliance with OSHA and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations; participate in emergency response as neededMaintain efficient repair schedules and review repair cost estimates for accuracy and cost-effectivenessCoordinate and oversee work performed by external vendors and contractorsMonitor and manage spare parts inventory to ensure adequate supply levelsEnsure all facility vehicles are clean, fueled, and maintained in proper working conditionPartner with the Safety Department to implement and uphold safety policies and proceduresRemain available for on-call support as requiredKnowledge/Skills/AbilitiesMaterial handling equipment, building maintenance, fire systems, plumbing, electrical, and carpentryAbility to interpret blueprints, specifications and schematicsEffective interpersonal and written communication skillsAble to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectivelyExcellent organizational and prioritization skillsExperience with budget managementEducation/Experience/TrainingHigh School Diploma required, bachelor's degree in engineering preferredMinimum three (3) years related experience requiredMust have knowledge of general maintenance and functions of all equipment.Martignetti Companies prides itself on being a company where you can bring your best self to work every day.
