CompanyMitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials Inc.Job DescriptionAbout the Role:Join our growing manufacturing team as a Machine Operator in 2nd Ops-Rotating Shift (1st and 2nd Shift) focused on grinding, annealing, and value-added processing of plastic stock shapes. You’ll work with specialized equipment like centerless grinders, annealing ovens, a plate planer, and precision measuring tools to ensure products meet exact specifications.This hands-on role is perfect for someone with strong mechanical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on safety and quality.What You’ll DoSet up and operate centerless grindersLoad/unload materials into air and nitrogen annealing ovensLoad auto-feed and hand-feed grinders using in-feed tablesOperate plate planer.Measure rods pre- and post-grind to within 0.0005” toleranceDress grinding and regulating wheels using diamond headsProgram and adjust lay-line printing equipmentSelect correct annealing cycles for different materials and shapesPerform basic machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and other tasks and duties as assigned.What We’re Looking ForHigh School Diploma or GED required.3-5 years experience in manufacturing or machine operation required.Experience with hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices required.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detailAbility to multitaskAbility to lift and move materials throughout the shiftForklift experience (stand-up and walk-behind) – OSHA certification a plusWillingness to follow all safety protocols and quality standardsAbility to work rotating shiftsBonus Points If You HaveExperience with centerless grindingFamiliarity with plastic or polymer materialsKnowledge of barcoding systems or digital reporting toolsPay TransparencyThe starting salary range for this position is $24.23, plus $0.75 shift differential for 2nd shift hours. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
