Painter Apprentice

PainterAtWork Personnel is seeking painters to join a growing residential and commercial painting company serving Georgetown, TX and surrounding areas. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, have a positive attitude, and are eager to learn. Experienced painters are encouraged to apply, but motivated entry-level candidates looking to start a career in the painting trade are also welcome. This role offers an opportunity to develop valuable skills while working alongside a supportive and professional team.Core ResponsibilitiesPerform interior and exterior painting on residential and commercial propertiesPrepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, patching, and priming as neededApply paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, and sprayersPaint walls, ceilings, doors, trim, baseboards, cabinets, and other surfacesEnsure clean lines, consistent coverage, and professional-quality finishesProtect surrounding areas with drop cloths, tape, plastic, and masking materialsAssist with basic sheetrock repair, mud work, and texture matching as neededMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentFollow company safety procedures and job site requirementsWork collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time and to customer expectationsRequired QualificationsPrevious painting experience is preferred but not requiredEntry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to applyAbility to follow instructions and learn painting techniques and safety proceduresComfortable climbing ladders and working on scaffoldingAbility to lift, carry, and move painting materials and equipment throughout the dayReliable transportation to and from job sitesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and as part of a teamDependable attendance and positive attitudePreferred QualificationsProfessional residential or commercial painting experienceExperience with sheetrock repair, mud work, and texture matchingExperience using paint sprayers and other painting equipmentKnowledge of paint products, coatings, and application techniquesFamiliarity with surface preparation and finishing processesCompensation & SchedulePay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour (based on experience)Schedule: Monday – FridayHours: 25 – 40 hours per weekLocation: Georgetown, TX and surrounding Austin-area job sitesWhy Join This Team?Whether you're an experienced painter or looking to break into the trade, this is an opportunity to grow with a company that values craftsmanship, professionalism, and teamwork.
