The Role
We’re hiring a Store Manager to lead day-to-day operations, model best-in-class sales behaviors, and develop a high-performing team. You’ll own hiring and onboarding, daily coaching and training, KPI accountability, and the smooth execution of in-store marketing and special events. The ideal leader takes direction well, is self-motivated, and thrives as a proactive self-starter.
What You’ll Do
Lead the team: Recruit, hire, onboard, coach; run daily huddles; set clear goals; provide monthly written feedback.
Train the craft of selling: Role-play the 8 Steps of the Sale; reinforce turnover/switch, add-ons, clienteling, credit applications, care-plan presentations, and repair/custom intake.
Own the KPIs:
Total sales & AOV
Repair sales and first-pass quality
Care-plan attach rate
Credit applications & approvals
Clienteling activity & booked appointments
Run tight operations: Keep fast sellers in stock; manage receiving, tagging, case standards, and floor readiness.
Repair excellence: Ensure accurate estimates/pricing (Geller standards), documentation, timing, and guest communication.
Execute marketing & events: Carry out in-store marketing plans, seasonal promotions, and special events with pre/post follow-up.
Sell & serve: Maintain your personal sales goals while ensuring coverage and great guest experiences.
Protect margin: Price with discipline, manage discounts, and align to margin targets.
What You’ll Bring
3+ years of leadership in retail (jewelry experience strongly preferred).
A track record of coaching sales teams and owning KPIs.
Strong grasp of the jewelry sales cycle (discovery → presentation → close), with confidence in repairs, custom/special orders, and add-ons.
Organized, detail-driven, calm under pressure; able to prioritize and delegate.
Comfortable with POS and clienteling tools; strong written and verbal communication.
Values-first approach—teamwork, integrity, accountability, genuine care for guests.
Compensation & Schedule
Base Salary: $65,000 to $80,000 depending on previous experience
Upside: Commission on personal sales + manager bonuses for hitting store sales goals and managing to margin targets
Schedule: Full-time; weekend/holiday availability required during peak seasons
