Engineering Program Manager, Autonomous Solutions
Engineering Program ManagerHexagon's Autonomous Solutions business area is looking for an Engineering Program Manager focused on coordinating key strategic R&D initiatives across multiple divisions, leveraging strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. To successfully deliver on these strategic initiatives you will define, establish, and manage end-to-end release planning and stakeholder engagement.In this role, you will engage with stakeholders across the Autonomous Solutions Business Area—spanning multiple divisions (NovAtel Positioning, Septentrio Positioning, Mining, Aerospace and Defense, Core Autonomy, and Agriculture) and cross-functional product teams including Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.You will collaborate closely with Technical Leads from each division to define, align on, and share solutions that enable success. Strong project management discipline, stakeholder alignment, and cross-organizational coordination are critical to success in this role.As a newly created position with high visibility and regular exposure to senior and executive leadership, you will be accountable for planning, scoping, and delivering successful outcomes across the Autonomous Solutions Business Area. All activities will be executed in accordance with Hexagon's world-class project management practices and product development processes.ResponsibilitiesAs an Engineering Program Manager you will be responsible for:Lead R&D improvement initiatives that involve multiple divisions within the Autonomous Solutions Business Area.Support technical leaders, stakeholders and delegates in strategy, team coordination, project scope and all deliverablesAccountable for achieving program objectives including quality, cost and timely introductionResponsible for following and championing the use of Hexagon processesContinuous monitoring and controlling of project issues, risks, schedules and costsRegular communications with all project stakeholders including generating program and project status updatesLead interface for all contractors engaged for outsourced work packagesKeep concise meeting minutes and manage action items from inception to completion.Apply key skills of project management including planning, execution, monitoring and control of project budgets, schedule, risk, resources, scope and more.QualificationsMust-Have:10+ years of combined product development, project management, and people management experiencePractical knowledge of project management and change management principlesStrong oral and written communication skillsProject Management Tool knowledge (MS365, including CoPilot)Must be able to achieve Controlled Goods security statusKey Success Factors:Ability to influence and motivate those around youAbility to quickly adapt to changeExcellent interpersonal skills within a multi-disciplinary, multi-site environment.Smart, no ego, goal oriented and driven by integritySelf-motivated with the capacity to work autonomouslyAbility to effectively view and explain issues and resolutions from a technical, end-user and business perspectivePossess strong verbal and written English language communication skills.
