Systems Administrator (Contract)Location: Danbury, CT (Hybrid)Duration: 3-Month ContractSchedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per WeekOverviewWe are seeking a Systems Administrator for a contract opportunity supporting a Robert Half client a diverse infrastructure environment. This position is ideal for a well-rounded IT professional who enjoys working across server administration, networking, Microsoft 365 technologies, and infrastructure support.The successful candidate will have experience supporting both on-premises and cloud environments and be comfortable performing a combination of remote administration and hands-on infrastructure work.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and support Windows Server environmentsManage Active Directory, Group Policy, file services, and Microsoft 365Support Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, and SharePoint environmentsTroubleshoot server, network, and cloud infrastructure issuesConfigure and support switches, firewalls, and related network infrastructurePerform hardware installation, equipment deployment, and cabling activitiesAssist with infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and technology rolloutsDocument systems, processes, and technical solutionsCollaborate with technical teams to support ongoing infrastructure initiativesMaintain security, backup, and business continuity solutionsProvide technical support and guidance to users and stakeholdersRequired Qualifications3+ years of Systems Administration or Infrastructure Support experienceExperience supporting Windows Server environmentsStrong knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administrationUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, switches, and firewallsExperience troubleshooting server, network, and cloud-related issuesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)Experience with Microsoft IntuneExperience with SharePoint administrationExperience supporting hybrid cloud environmentsExperience performing hands-on infrastructure deploymentsExposure to virtualization technologies and backup solutionsTechnology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
