Research Data Analyst (International Health)

< The Department of International Health at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health is seeking a Research Data Analyst.The Research Data Analyst will provide data analysis and related activities for various types of research projects and studies. The Research Data Analyst will contribute to ongoing development, maintenance, and use of a research data pipeline that collects and analyzes data.Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesCollect data and generate reports and models. Run models, analyze model results, and prepare reports on the analysis. Conduct analyses in support of the assigned research project or study. Conduct statistical analyses using standard and statistical software packages. Design and prepare tables to illustrate analytic findings. Manage or contribute to entry of data in the assigned database. May engage in other research related responsibilities. Other duties as assigned.In addition to the duties described aboveDesign and implement an artificial intelligence (AI) algorithm for accurate vehicle speed estimationDevelop an interactive data visualization platform to display and communicate analytical results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Prepare technical reports and draft manuscripts for submission to peer-reviewed academic journals.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree in related discipline.Three years of related experience.Preferred QualificationsProficiency in Python programming.Project experience with developing AI algorithms for public health.Technical Skills & Expected Level of ProficiencyData Management and Analysis - Developing Data Pipeline Architecture & ETL/ELT Development - Developing Data Visualization - Developing Programming Languages - Developing Reproducible Research Practices - Developing Research Methodology - Developing Statistical Modeling - DevelopingStatistical Programming - DevelopingThe core technical skills listed are most essential; additional technical skills may be required based on specific division or department needs.
