Peoplesoft Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager – PeopleSoft ERP ProgramLocation Remote – Candidate must reside in ColoradoDuration 12 months ContractPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a large-scale PeopleSoft ERP program within a government environment. This role will work closely with program leadership, agency stakeholders, vendors, and governance teams to coordinate project activities, manage communications, support strategic planning initiatives, and ensure successful execution of ERP-related projects and upgrades.The ideal candidate will possess strong project management expertise, experience supporting ERP implementations/upgrades (preferably PeopleSoft), and the ability to operate effectively within complex organizational and stakeholder environments.Key ResponsibilitiesProgram & Project ManagementSupport the PeopleSoft Program Manager with daily project and program coordination activities. Facilitate project execution activities and monitor progress against timelines and deliverables. Coordinate resource management activities across multiple projects and stakeholders. Track project issues, risks, dependencies, and mitigation plans. Ensure deliverables are completed according to defined requirements and schedules. Assist in managing program changes, priorities, and strategic initiatives. Stakeholder & Communication ManagementInterface with agency leadership, business stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams. Coordinate communications between program teams, leadership, and external partners. Understand organizational dynamics and support communication with key decision makers. Prepare presentations, reports, meeting agendas, meeting minutes, and executive summaries. Support governance activities and provide updates to leadership and steering committees. Governance & Strategic PlanningAssist with preparation and support for the PeopleSoft Governance Council. Help prepare strategic 3–5 year program plans and roadmap documentation. Track and report program priorities, milestones, and metrics. Support Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) activities and recommendations. Reporting & Administrative SupportMonitor and report: Program status updates Budget/spending metrics Risks and issues Program documentation Action items and schedules Coordinate meeting logistics, communications, and documentation. Maintain project plans, schedules, and reporting dashboards. Required QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. PMP Certification or equivalent project management certification. 7+ years of project management experience. Experience supporting ERP systems and upgrades, preferably PeopleSoft. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and governance processes. Experience managing budgets, reporting, and program metrics. Ability to work effectively with executive leadership, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
