Control-M engineer

Analyze existing Control-M environment, job schedules, workflows, dependencies, SOPs, and runbooks to understand the end-to-end batch landscape.Work closely with business and application partners to gather requirements and translate them into Control-M scheduling and automation solutions.Analyze job failures, data dependencies, file transfers, and upstream/downstream application integrations to identify improvement opportunities.Support new application onboarding, job scheduling design, workflow development, and integration with Control-M.Lead or support Control-M upgrades, migrations, modernization initiatives, patching, and environment enhancement activities.Review and improve SOPs, runbooks, operational processes, and documentation to strengthen support efficiency and knowledge management.Coordinate with infrastructure, database, application, security, and BMC teams for complex technical issues and platform changes.Drive continuous improvement through automation, workload optimization, proactive monitoring, and recommendations for improving platform stability and efficiency.
