Executive Chef
June’s is a rooftop bar and restaurant coming to Eastvale, CA in the fall of 2024. We’re hiring an executive chef to help us create and execute the culinary menu.
We are looking for someone with a point of view, an artistic culinary flair, and knowledge of current culinary trends. You will have significant autonomy in creating a menu that is reflective of your interests, and in turn will be expected to keep things fresh and exciting for our guests.
The successful candidate will directly manage all culinary operations including menu development, with oversight of hourly cooks for recipe execution, safety, and sanitation.
Job Responsibilities:
Create and evolve the menu of shareable, produce-driven small plates
Ensure all food is expertly and consistently prepared
Manage purchasing, receiving, and inventory of kitchen items
Provide leadership and mentorship to culinary team
Create a work environment promoting teamwork, representation, feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
Qualifications:
5+ years of kitchen management/chef experience
Experience in a high-volume, upscale hospitality or restaurant venue
Dedication to excellent food quality and ensuring compliance with all health and safety and food handling practices
Passion for food and guest experience
Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
Experience in menu creation
Active ServSafe Management Food Safety Certificate
