You will assist in overseeing the preparation, presentation, and quality of fresh food items while maintaining safety and sanitation standards. With opportunity as our greatest benefit and a dynamic team environment, this role is ideal for individuals passionate about the food industry and ready to make a difference.Job Functions:Ensure a safe, clean, and well-maintained kitchen, along with adherence to proper food safety proceduresAssist the Fresh Food Manager with proper task execution and completion while following effective safety practicesWork with and coach the team to prepare and package fresh kitchen items in a timely manner to maximize customer service expectations and resultsManage food inventory and ordering supplies to ensure stock is fresh and adequateCoordinate with suppliers and manage waste reduction effortsAssist in pricing, promotions, and ensure the deli meets profitability goalsAbility to move, lift 25+ pounds.
