Job Title:Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (Sub-Investigator) – Clinical Research Location:Encino, CA (primary) with occasional coverage in Mission Viejo, CA Schedule:Part-Time, 24 hours per weekPosition Overview: We are seeking a skilled and adaptableFamily Nurse Practitioner (FNP)to serve as a Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) in a clinical research setting. This role involves working across multiple therapeutic areas and supporting the conduct of clinical trials while ensuring patient safety, protocol compliance, and high-quality data collection.Key Responsibilities: Serve as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements Perform physical examinations, medical histories, and eligibility assessments Conduct study-related procedures, including IV placement Monitor patient safety and report adverse events appropriately Collaborate with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, and sponsors Educate study participants on protocols, procedures, and expectations Ensure accurate and timely documentation of source data and case report formsPatient Population & Scope: Work across multiple therapeutic areas (TAs) Treat a diverse patient population, primarily adults Limited pediatric exposure (generally age 16+, and not a primary focus)Qualifications: Active and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in CA Strong clinical skills, including procedural competency (e.g., IV placement) Comfortable working across a broad range of conditions and study types Prior clinical research experience preferred but not required Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skillsWork Environment & Benefits: Flexible part-time schedule (24 hours/week) Opportunity to work on cutting-edge clinical trials Collaborative and supportive team environment Professional growth within clinical research
