Quality Control Technician / Quality Control Associate The Quality Control Associate is responsible for ensuring cosmetic products meet established quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This role supports compliance with company specifications, Good Manufacturing Practices (Gmp), and applicable FDA regulations by inspecting raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Key responsibilities include:Inspect raw materials, packaging components, and finished cosmetic products for quality, accuracy, and compliancePerform in-process and final product inspections according to established proceduresVerify labeling, lot codes, batch numbers, and expiration dates for accuracyDocument inspection results clearly and accurately in logs, reports, and quality systemsIdentify, report, and help investigate quality issues, defects, or non-conformancesPlace products on hold or reject materials that do not meet specificationsSupport corrective and preventive actions (Capa) as neededMaintain a clean and organized QC work areaFollow all Gmp, safety, and sanitation guidelinesAssist with audits and quality reviews when requiredCommunicate effectively with production, warehouse, and management teamsQualifications include:High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in science or related field preferredPrevious quality control experience in cosmetics, personal care, food, or pharmaceutical manufacturing preferredKnowledge of Gmp and quality standards is a plusStrong attention to detail and ability to follow written proceduresBasic math and documentation skillsAbility to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasksAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWork environment includes:Manufacturing or warehouse settingMay involve exposure to cosmetic ingredients, fragrances, and packaging materialsUse of personal protective equipment (Ppe) as required
