JOB SUMMARY An Electrical Engineer is responsible for developing, monitoring, and continuously improving manufacturing processes, including the development of electronic systems and test equipment. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, along with proficiency in LabView software and project scheduling. The Electrical Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects are completed on time and meet quality standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Design, assemble and deploy electronic systems and equipment. Conduct system design reviews and ensure compliance with industry standards Perform root cause analysis to troubleshoot and resolve electrical performance issues. Fabricate prototypes and conduct testing to validate designs. Develop firmware for embedded systems as needed Automating test equipment / processes Supporting the development of product and processes Maintain accurate documentation of designs, changes and test results OTHER DUTIES Other duties as assigned. Use of Personal Protective Equipment. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering 2+ years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong knowledge of electronics circuit design and development Experience with LabView, Schematic Capture (OrCAD, PSpice, etc.) Familiar with PCB layout, automated optical inspection Experience with bothanalogand digital electronics: Signal processing, Power Supplies, PID controllers Troubleshoot and debug electronics Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
