Truck Driver

Local Shuttle Driver Drivers will be moving engines/radiators/gensets (some OD) from one of our Lafayette locations to Monticello for build/test. They'll bring completed units back from Monticello. $3,500 new hire bonus Must have 1 year tractor trailer experience with 6 months verified flatbed in the last 3 years Must have 6 months securement training including chains and binders Must have a valid Class A CDL license with a good MVR and BG Stable job history required A round trip begins in Lafayette (live loading) going to Monticello (drop), hook to a completed unit in Monticello, return completed unit to Lafayette and reload to return to Monticello. 50 mile round trip. Drivers are expected to make 2-3 round trips per day. $27/hr. $1,300 - $1,500 average weekly pay 1200-2200 Monday – Friday (Summer hours), 1000-2000 (Winter hours)- exact hours may vary based on OD requirements, some Saturday work as needed. New Hire Transition Bonus: $500 – Paid in full on second paycheck $3,000 – Paid out at $1,000 on second paycheck; $1,000 at 60 days, and $1,000 at 120 days. Home every weekend (depending on home location. May be home some nights) Saturdays are not currently mandatory but that may change depending on customer's requests 2016-2023 Kenworth trucks. Double drop trailers. Paid 2 day orientation in Atlanta ($500) Starts on Tuesday or Thursday, with travel the day before. Paid $250 a day, will pay for travel and private hotel room. Free breakfast at hotel, lunch is provided, free dinner at hotel for drivers Car Rental if less than 10 hour drive Full benefits in 60 days
