Lead Advanced Locksmith Technician

PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING: This job requires 5+ years of commercial locksmithing, facilities maintenance, access control repair and experience opening/installing/servicing residential and commercial safes. Job responsibilities: - Install, repair, and maintain various types of locks and security systems (including specialty hardware for commercial buildings and marine vessels) - Cut and duplicate keys (not car keys) - Open locked doors and safes using specialized tools and techniques - Assess security needs and recommend appropriate solutions - Manage incoming jobs and job scheduling for 2+ employees, including yourself - Maintain accurate records of work performed and send proper check-out reports following work day completion Experience: - Proven experience as a locksmith for 5 or more years or in a similar role - Knowledge of different types of locks, keys, and security systems - Familiarity with locksmith tools and equipment - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination - Ability to work independently or as part of a team - Good communication and customer service skills Please note that this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
