Certified Medication Aide

Position: Certified Medication Aide Location: Rehabilitation Center Job Description: We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at our healthcare facility. The Certified Medication Aide will be responsible for administering medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers. Responsibilities: - Administer medication to patients as prescribed by healthcare providers- Ensure patients receive medications on time and in the correct dosage- Document medication administration in patients' charts- Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medication and report them to healthcare providers- Assist healthcare providers in updating medication orders and ensuring accurate medication administration- Maintain confidentiality of patient information Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent- Certification as a Medication Aide- Previous experience in medication administration preferred- Strong attention to detail- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work well in a team environment- Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures Salary: Starting from $20.50 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: CMA: 2 years (Required) Rehabilitation Center: 2 years (Preferred) Active CNA & CMA licenses License/Certification: Certified Medical Assistant & CNA (Required) Work Location: In person If you are a compassionate and dedicated individual with a passion for helping others, we encourage you to apply for the position of Certified Medication Aide at our healthcare facility.
