Job detailsKelly is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II to work at a premier manufacturing client in Eugene, OR.Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation: $19.00 per hourShift: 1st shift (but open to working overtime and flexible shifts as needed)What's a typical day as Manufacturing Technician II? You'll be:Completing production and quality analysis of reagents, components, and finished products in accordance with SOPs, work instructions, and the production scheduleEffectively communicating and interfacing with workgroups to ensure daily production targets are metWorking in standard and cleanroom environments following room-specific PPE requirementsOperating and monitoring production equipment, making adjustments as needed for smooth operations and high-quality resultsCollaborating with other technicians to perform formulating, filling, and/or labeling of productsComprehending and following production paperwork, including product and label reconciliation, labor sheets, product fill checks, and torque checksHandling chemicals and hazardous materials safely and complying with all company safety regulations and ISO 13485 guidelinesCleaning and sanitizing work areas, machines, glassware, or equipment as neededUtilizing basic computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, to support daily operational functionsPerforming other duties as assigned to support production needsThis job might be an outstanding fit if you:Have demonstrated proficiency in basic packaging techniques, equipment operation, and protocol record retentionAre able to work safely with chemicals and hazardous materialsCan follow detailed instructions and maintain accuracy in all functionsAre physically able to stand, walk, use hands, and occasionally lift/move up to 40 poundsPossess strong communication skills and can work both independently and as part of a teamAre open to working overtime and flexible shifts as neededHave basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteEducation and Experience Requirements:Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent (required)BS (or AS + relevant experience) in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, or other related life science discipline (a plus)1+ year experience in a life science, biotechnology, or related discipline (preferred)What happens nextOnce you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
