Oracle Database Developer

Title: Principal Oracle PL/SQL Developer (W2/Hybrid) Location : Texas/New Hampshire / New jersy (LOCALS ONLY)10+ years’ experience including hands-on experience with:1) Performance tuning existing or new2) Extensive Oracle SQL & PL/SQL development experience3) Unix shell scripting4) Some reporting tool experience5) For ETL, we use SQL loader.6) Python would be very good to have*NICE-TO-HAVE*AWS, Data Analytics and understanding and working more on large data sets·Direct experience in Capital Markets, preferably Prime Services and/or Securities Lending·Strong command of financial data models, workflows, and industry terminology·Advanced Oracle RDBMS expertise, including: Complex SQL queryingStored procedures, functions, triggers, and viewsObject and user privilege management·Demonstrated ownership of performance tuning for complex SQL and PL/SQL workloads·Proven experience designing and supporting high-volume ETL processes (e.g., SQL*Loader or equivalent)·Strong experience with database modeling and schema design·Ability to work effectively with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) and to develop and/or work with AI agents·Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, applied to real financial datasets·Experience working in Linux/Unix environments with command-line proficiency
