Summary : Tumblerware is building premium, design-forward products, and we’re looking for a Product Development Lead to bring those products to life. This role owns the end-to-end execution of new and improved products, taking a defined product vision and turning it into real, manufacturable, scalable products. You’ll lead the work from concept handoff through sampling, refinement, supplier coordination, and readiness for production, ensuring every product meets our standards for quality, margin, and customer experience. You’ll work closely with the CEO (product vision and positioning) and the Operations Director (scale and mass production), sitting at the center of product execution and playing a critical role in how Tumblerware’s products reach customers. Responsibilities
Translate product vision and positioning into clear development plans, specs, timelines, and milestones
Lead development of new products and meaningful improvements to existing products
Own the full sampling and iteration process, driving structured feedback loops and clear decisions
Manage supplier relationships, communication, timelines, and performance expectations
Create and maintain product specs, BOMs, and technical documentation
Establish cost and margin guardrails while protecting the premium product experience
Partner with operations to ensure products are fully ready for scale and mass production
Define and uphold product quality standards, QC requirements, and inspection processes
Collaborate with marketing and operations to support launch readiness and accurate product storytelling
Identify and resolve risks early—before they impact quality, timelines, or scalability
Qualifications
3–8 years of experience in product development, sourcing, manufacturing, or consumer product execution
Proven experience taking consumer products from concept through production
Strong understanding of sampling, QC, packaging, materials, and manufacturing constraints
Excellent supplier communication and execution management skills
Ability to translate high-level product intent into clear, manufacturable outcomes
Strong judgment and prioritization—focused on what materially improves the product
Comfortable working in fast-moving, iterative environments with high standards
Bonus: experience elevating commodity products into premium branded offerings
