Posting Number 20163050F Job DescriptionOhio University Regional Campuses are seeking part-time instructors to teach in-person courses at the undergraduate level in engineering technology. The exact number of Instructors needed is undetermined at this time as it is primarily dependent upon enrollments and programmatic needs. When a need arises, the department will select qualified candidates from this pool.Preference will be given to applicants who can teach in-person sections of ENGT 1200 (Industrial Electronics), ENGT 1500 (Mechatronics Systems and Components Repair), ENGT 2210 (Programmable Logic Controllers 1 and Motor Controls), and/or ENGT 2230 (Automation and Robotics 1) at the Ohio University Chillicothe campus.Position will include teaching from 3 credit hours to up to 11 credit hours per term.This position is in-person and not remote. This is a part-time position eligible for sick leave and retirement.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering technology, advanced manufacturing, robotics and automation, or related field.Preferred QualificationsExperience working in advanced manufacturing. Industry recognized certification in robotics or programmable logic controllers (PLC).Experience teaching in an advanced manufacturing programDepartment Regional Higher Education Pay RateStandard rates per credit hour.
