SARACA fosters an inclusive and innovation-driven work environment, supporting customers in achieving their business growth and industry leadership goals.We are seeking a skilled and hands-on Electrical Engineer to support the design, integration, and testing of electrical subsystems for small robotic platforms and ground-based vehicles. This role involves working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to develop, install, and troubleshoot advanced electrical systems, including Drive-by-Wire architectures.The ideal candidate will have strong experience in electrical system design, wiring harness development, and hardware-level debugging, along with a solid understanding of embedded systems and electronic testing.Job description:Design electrical system architectures, including schematics, wiring diagrams, and harness layoutsDevelop and implement electrical topology for Drive-by-Wire and similar control systemsCollaborate with mechanical and systems engineers on component placement and harness routingBuild, test, and validate wiring harnesses and electronic modulesTroubleshoot electrical systems, prototypes, and field issues to identify root causesAnalyze communication protocols such as CAN bus using diagnostic toolsPerform installation, modification, and repair of electrical components and systemsConduct testing using standard equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, etc.) and interpret resultsSupport embedded module programming using visual or logical programming toolsExecute preventive maintenance, calibration, and system upgradesDocument testing procedures, results, and system modificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field5–7 years of experience in electrical systems integration and troubleshootingHands-on experience with wiring harness design, pin mapping, and electrical schematicsStrong knowledge of electronic circuits, components, and system-level integrationExperience working with test equipment such as oscilloscopes and multimetersFamiliarity with CAN bus or other serial communication protocolsExperience supporting prototype development and testing environmentsAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specificationsPreferred QualificationsExperience in robotics, automotive systems, or autonomous vehiclesExposure to Drive-by-Wire systems or similar control architecturesBasic knowledge of embedded systems or electronic module programmingStrong problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindsetAbility to work independently with minimal supervision
