Part Time Porter/Groundskeeper

The Porter/Make Ready Person is to maintain the appearance of the apartment community common areas and grounds in a clean and orderly condition, performing the duties necessary to complete this task, and paint. These duties might include painting inside the building, conducting a trash pick-up, blowing out the breezeways regularly to maintain high cleanliness standards. The Porter reports to and is directly responsible to the Lead Maintenance and Property Manager. Schedule: Monday-Friday: 8 am-5 pm Duties Include but not Limited to: Responsible for meticulous upkeep of grounds, amenities, building exteriors and leasing office, parking lots and other community buildings. Interior painting. Prepares property trash for city pick-up. Assists in the preparation of market ready units, including remove trash from vacant apartments (trash outs) prior to make-ready. Performs assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner. Assists in the cleaning of available apartments and/or models. Assists in the troubleshoot/repair of mechanical, carpentry and electrical problems. Reports any maintenance concerns for repairs on available apartments, models, clubhouse, and/or common areas to the Maintenance Director. Represents the community in a professional manner at all times-on/off property. Delivers communication documentation to residents. Ensures that unsafe conditions are corrected in a timely manner. Learns and ensures compliance with all company, local, state, and federal safety rules.
